“Fooling” is an abstract piece I designed to invoke feelings of judgement and evaluation. Not of being judged, but of being placed in a position where we must judge, where we must choose between options. How do we weigh all the aspects of one thing in order to compare them to another different thing? We must arbitrarily fit them into certain categories. We must create limits and attach them to the subjects of our scrutiny. But is there any reality to this, or are we just fooling ourselves?
