This powerful and menacing wizard is my first fantasy piece, but it definitely won’t be my last. Crafted in 2024 over 50+ hours of meticulous work, the process of creation felt a little bit like the art of magic. Inspired by my years of playing Magic: The Gathering, “Master of Reality” is named for another dark and powerful influence; the third and in my opinion the greatest album by Black Sabbath. The wizard is made from magazines, and the background is made up of carefully chosen strips of newspaper.
