Basketball has always made sense to me. From the countless hours practicing free throws in my driveway to the late nights sitting inches away from the TV breathlessly watching the legends as they fought for every basket, this game has been a big part of my life. “Fast Break” is not meant to depict any specific player, and I won’t say who I was thinking of when I made it, but if you knew you’d see his influence. This piece was put together over 70 hours during 2025 from magazine clippings and sports sections out of the local newspapers. It represents athleticism at it’s highest form.
