This work, titled “X-ray Specs,” is an homage to the pop culture of my youth. It’s meant to evoke that feeling when you turn to the back of the comic book and look at all the crazy things you can order; time machines, bottle rockets, foam dinosaurs that grow in the water, and yes, x-ray specs.
